GREGORY CUI CLASS OF 2014

RUMTA sends our utmost Congratulations to Class of 2014’s Greg Cui on his recent clerkship for Justice Sotomayor! Greg left a lasting legacy as both RUMTA’s President and A-Team Captain; it comes as no surprise that after graduating Yale Law School, he’s starting an exceptionally bright legal career. When asked how RUMTA contributed to his success, Greg remarked “I owe a great deal to Rutgers Mock Trial.  I'm thankful every day that I got to spend three years on the team.  It is a wonderful community where I met some of my closest friends, and where I got to learn from Mike and Craig, whose lessons about effective advocacy, leadership, and hard work have guided me throughout my career.  I wouldn't be where I am without their mentorship and advice, and I'll always treasure my time with RUMTA.  I'm so excited for you and your teammates and what you'll get to experience and accomplish.

As an organization, we’re proud to call Greg one of our alumni and hope we can keep his spirit of diligence and determination alive!

On February 9-11, 2018, RUMTA ‘16 alumnus Thomas Twitchell competed on a three-attorney team representing the NYU School of Law at the TYLA New York Regional competition. RUMTA '16 alum Madhuri Swarna helped coach the team in preparation for the regional competition. The team will meet 27 other teams from across the country on April 4-8, 2018 in Austin, TX at the National Trial Competition. The Competition is hosted by the Texas Young Lawyers Association and sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers.
