Zaniah Maynor

Zaniah joined the team her freshman year and gave the closing statement for C-Team during the 2009-2010 season. For the next three years she competed on A-Team and held various positions on the Executive Board, including president during her senior year. She was a competitor on the first RUMTA team to advance to Nationals; that year Rutgers placed second in the nation.
Since graduating, Zaniah has returned to the organization multiple times to offer her time as assistant coach for the B-Team. She is currently a 3L at New York Law School, where she is the president of multiple organizations, including the NYLS Trial Competition Team. Zaniah received a scholarship and award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy from the New York City Trial Lawyers Alliance, showing how RUMTA excellence extends far beyond the organization’s home on the Raritan.
