Class of 2014 Major: Economics

Yale Law School U.S. Supreme Court Clerk

President (2013-14)
A-Team Captain (2013-14)
Treasurer (2012-13)

Greg was a closing attorney for the three years he competed on RUMTA, once for the prosecution, and twice for the defense. In addition to being an attorney, he played an expert witness each year. During his junior year, Greg was elected treasurer, and in his senior year, he became captain of Team A and the seventh president of RUMTA.  For Greg, being president was a much more demanding and complicated responsibility than he anticipated, but also one of the most rewarding experiences from his college career. He felt like it was a privilege to lead such a talented, ambitious, and aggressive group of individuals, something everyone should aspire to.

Along with being a dedicated member of RUMTA, Greg held various internship positions while attending Rutgers University. He spent two summers interning at the immigration law firm Yerman & Associates and one summer at the Office of the Mayor of New York City working for the Criminal Justice Coordinator.

Post-graduation, Greg attended Yale Law School and is currently gearing up for a clerkship for Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor!

I’m sure I will reap innumerable benefits from my time with RUMTA in law school. The alumni who are there now or have graduated already have said as much. For now, RUMTA has helped me by providing me with a family with whom I can enjoy the summer and also a place where I can begin giving back. Craig, our coach, always emphasizes the duty of lawyers to serve their communities. Although I haven’t been trained or licensed, I will still try my best to help the team reach its goals.
